CEO & Co-founder of the entrepreneurial project SQMOS selected by Start Up Chile in 2011, incubated by Movistar Innova Chile 2011-2012. Entrepreneurial Community Manager in Central America working on several scenarios and publications to create a local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Researcher and university profesor: Artificial Intelligence Researcher specially in the subjects of Big Data, Knowledge Management and Semantic Web.  Associated Professor at Rovira i Virgili University Tarragona Spain (2002), Researcher stage at University of Maribor Slovenija (2004), Associated Professor at Del Valle of Guatemala University (2008), Researcher stage at Memorial da Ameria Latina and Invited Professor at Sao Paulo University Brazil (2009). Full time professor at University San Carlos of Guatemala since 2008. Coordinator of more than 20 pre grade projects one of them selected as the best graduation project of 2008 “Genetic algorithms applied to process of resources assignment”, Visiting professor at Diego Portales University Santiago de Chile (2012).

Former-President of the ICT Commission at the Guatemalan National Council of Science and Technology (CONCYT) since 2009 to 2011. In this position he proposed several initiatives such as: Draft law initiative proposal to promote the research work and the incorporation of researchers at universities and research institutes in Guatemala.

Entrepreneurs’ evangelist of university students at Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, Spain.

Radio host:  program co-presenter at Radio Infinita 100.1 (2008-2012) talks about technology and entrepreneurship.

Speaker: Selected from 2500 dissertation to present “Web 3.0 and Human Computation: Ancient Mayan Legacy” at SXSW Austin Texas, Mach 2010. In 2012 proposed a conference LATAM: Start-up culture to the SXSW 2013
