“Theoretical physics is one of the highest impact fields in science, contributing key concepts to diverse fields from astronomy to neuroscience, pure mathematics to computer science. It is a creative field, constantly reinventing itself, discovering deeper insights into nature while broadening its range of application. Just one major discovery in theoretical physics is literally capable of changing the world.
Perimeter Scholars International welcomes applications from exceptional, enthusiastic, interactive students who have obtained an undergraduate honours degree in Physics, Math, Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 3 undergraduate or graduate courses in Physics beyond Introductory Physics.
Students will be selected on the basis of their potential as researchers in Theoretical Physics and on academic achievement. PSI intends to recruit a diverse group of students, both in background and nationality and without regard for financial means. We especially encourage applications from women.
